This week we have been reading a book called holes.We had to create a picture for what green lake looked like.Green lake is a location in the book holes and this is my picture.

In maths we are learning about place value i know that 500$ is the same as 500 one dollers and is the same as 5 onehundreds also the same as 50 tens.

bar graphs

In maths, we have been learning about bar graphs.

Data is information.

To collect data, we need to go around and ask people  what there favorite thing to eat or there favorite color.

When we have the data, we make a bar graph.

We know that a graph needs to have a key and a title.

When we read a graph, we can then write  there favorite food and color.

We have been learning about bar graphs for the past few weeks. Today we went around our school and collected data from all the classes.The class that had the most people in the class is room 6 because it has 31. Room 5 has 30, room 3 has 24,  my class has 26, room 9 has 22,  room 8 has 21,  room 12 has 18 , room 13 has 22,  room 2 has 19.

Today we are learning about bar graphs.We had to collect data and we had to go around and ask ten of our friends in our class everyone had to do a bar graphs and ask them what there favorite star war character and my favorite character is Luke skywalker
