Room 5's assembly

last week we had our assembly.

if you don't know what a assembly is its when you have to show your work and what you've done during the weeks.

our school changes every week.

we talked about our kawakawa balm and oil.

I wasn't here for a couple of days I only showed up for Thursday and Friday so I only had a couple of days to practice.

I had so much fun showing my work.

Marsden bay camp

On the first week of school the years 6 and 7's went on camp for three days.
It took 30-60 minutes and by the time we got there everyone went running to go play because there was a basket ball court 1v1 soccer and volley ball court.
I really think that that was the best camp I've ever been to in my life because on different days we went on different rides like water slide and we even went to go kayaking but I only went kayaking like once but I went swimming for the rest of the times.
Me and my friend's from school flipped over the kayak and did some bombs.
We even went to do archery and one of my mates hit a bulls eye and I was so impressed.
But there was one thing that stood out on the first day we arrived we spotted the most amazing most beautiful thing ever a giant flying fox.

And that was the best camp ever.

Going to the movies

On Saturday my mum took me and my brothers to see maleficent mistress of evil  it started at about 2:00 and ended around 4:00 and I saw one of my classmates watching the same movie  as me.
But before all of that happened my mum took me and my siblings to McDonald's for ice cream and a little play for 20 mins.
My mum takes her precious time talking on the phone to her boyfriend she took like 20 mins just talking to one man.
I got so angry I just ran across the road to the movies and I ran into the movies then when my mum came in I got a growling but I didn't care I just sat and watched the movie and ate popcorn and enjoyed he movie It was spectacular It was so cool I just wanted to watch it over and over and over again till I got board witch will be never because that movie was cool as I wish I could watch it when ever I wanted to but that's not going to happen unless I'm rich and get a theater in my house but that's in the future so I cant wait till then.

Going to Australia

In 4 weeks when school is done me and my siblings are going to Australia to see my dad and my little brothers.

My dad said we will go to a place that we haven't been in New Zealand so I can't wait till I go see My family in Australia because I haven't seen them in like 2 years so I'll be happy to see them again.

My dad put a little arcade for me and my older brother in our room so were not board at night and at day we can go for a swim in our pool and I really wish I could leave right now to see them again and I know that i'm going to have fun.

But it's going to take 2-3 hrs to get to Australia so in the mean time i'll probably just sit and watch some movies on the plane and if I get board I just play some games but to me their pretty boring.

So that's why I really wan't to get off the plane so when I get to the house I can Play fortnite on my brothers ps4 and play other games like pubg and mortal combat x and more.

Were also going shopping for clothes and toys for my little brother and If were lucky we might be able to go get krispy-kreme so I just need to be patient and wait till that day comes. .

Kapa haka haerenga

On Tuesday a group from our school went down to Hamilton to watch our kapa haka group Te rau pou manawa o kawakawa perform at national's.
We left around 9:00 and got to our destination around 3-4 pm.
But before that we had a few breaks to have morning tea and lunch.
The place we were staying at was Te Aratiatia marae.
After that we went to visit TRPM to support them for when they perform,but the main thing was we went there to have a big feed together.
When it was time for them to preform they were like the best group ever and I really hope they win.

Going to watch fire works

On Labour weekend my mum took me and my siblings to watch fireworks in Kerikeri at a private school but they were canceled until next weekend so then my mum took us to the beach instead to have a play on the playground at Waitangi.

Afterwards we went to Russell for a walk on the harbour wharf but by the time we got there it was around 9:30pm  and we stayed there until 10:00pm.

We left to eat some dinner a-butter chicken my favourite .The next day my uncle,my brother and my cousin built a deck around my pool at home and that took nearly 3 days and that was pretty much my weekend .

Going to Jump

Next week my brothers and sister are going to my mum's boyfriends daughters birthday and she wants to go to jump for her birthday  so we can go have fun for the holiday's because we usually go to Auckland to see our little cousins and play fortnite but were stay home for the holidays because of her birthday but it will be so fun going to jump for the first time and I just cant wait to go to jump.

Going to Australia

This Christmas I'm going to Australia to see my family that lives there because my dad and brothers are over there so I'll be so happy to see them again in like 3 years. My dad lives in Sydney and his house has a pool and a arcade like area and we have a game like the games you see in a arcade in my room so I'll be awake all night playing on it. And my uncle lives ten minutes away from my dad so when I get board I could just go and walk down to his house to see my little cousin and I just can't wait till that day.

FUN RUN

Two days ago we had a Fun run to see who would come 1st 2nd and 3rd and those people would be going to inter school win for our school and I was like 20 minutes in front of my group so I just sat with the group in-front of me and had fun and I had heaps of fun.

Fun run

Yesterday we had our cross country but our school calls it a fun run because we have mud fights, swims, obstacles and even run twice if you were sneaky.
After that we had a feed because some people haven't eaten since breakfast and it was like 12:00.
2:00 was the time we had to leave and we were ahead of schedule  so we had a few games of bull rush and I won once out of about 7 rounds 20 minutes later we left back to school and that day was really fun.

getting kumara from more FM

last week we won a lot of kumara from more FM.
we got over 200kgs of kumara to fund raise for our kapa haka group and there name is Te Rau Po Manawa o Kawakawa and there going to nationals to do kapa haka and to represent our school.
and we also got the to talk about us on the radio and they said so much nice things about our school  and that day made me so happy.

Taniwha's coming to kawakawa

last week Friday the Taniwha's came to Kawakawa Primary which is my school and we had a game of rugby with them and we had a new kid in our team and he was a really good rugby person to have on your team we won by like 10 points.
It was really fun playing with real  rugby players and it was fun to play with people you usually don't play with.

going to my cosines birthday

on Sunday I went to my cousins birthday we went from Kawakawa all the way to Whangarei go to laser tag and 10 pin bowling but since it didn't start until 3:30 and it was only 10:45 so then my aunt took my and some of my other cousins and my uncle she took us to burger king and when we were finished she took us to see Aladdin in cinemas.But when it was getting interesting we had to leave because it was 3:20 and it takes 10 minutes to get to ten pin bowling  so we had to leave early but we had fun with the chairs in the cinemas my team lost but I came first in my team and then we left it was really fun.

Getting hangi's

On Saturday our school had hangi's at one of the teachers house just down the road from our school and they made hangi's,

We needed a parent to go get the hangi's just encase someone came to get a hangi and didn't pay for them.

I just went there and played Fortnite with some of the friends that was there about five of my friends there .

At first we went around the back to go jump on the tramp then we went inside watch a little bit of a movie then we went in a small room with the PS4 and then we took turns on fortnite by the time it was 5:45 me and my little brother rushed home and played Fortnite at home.

The wonder project

From the past few week's we have been doing a program called the wonder project It's basically about you learning about engineering. it goes all the way up to year 8 and we had to make a rocket we had to get in groups so me and all my mates got into one big group and started designing and this is my groups rocket hope you like it.

Going to a 21st

On Friday me and my other siblings are going to a twenty first  in Auckland.

We will probably stop in Welsford for a feed and to go toilet.

We wont stop until we get to my mums house in Parnell and have a rest.

Me and my brothers will most likely stay up to play fortnite.

We will only leave when our mum wakes up or when my Nan comes to pick up one of us because we can't fit.

She'll probably take us to see our little cousin on the way to the birthday he's like the cutest baby iv'e ever seen then we will leave to the birthday it might take all day but my mum leaves halfway through the birthday and take us to krispy-cream and then go home since its the long weekend I'll probably  stay until Monday and its going to be fun.

 

Disco day

Last week Friday our school had a disco to support Te  Rau Po Manawa o Kawakawa to their trip down to Hamilton to preform.
The food that they had was delicious they had doughnuts,nachos,cupcake's,brownies,drinks,lollies,steak sandwiches,chop Suey and ice-blocks.
It was 3$ to get in me and my two friend's/cousin's Nikau and Tu Pakari we just walked around and it was really fun I can't wait until the next one.

Mothers day

Yesterday it was mothers day my mum made breakfast she made pancakes,bacon,eggs,baked beans and spaghetti.
After breakfast we did dishes and pack down the table when we finished my mum took her cousin to see her mum at Waikare.
When they came back we started to watch the Grinch and How to train your dragon hidden world
they were pretty fun to watch  with my mum.
At 9:00 my mum had to go back to Auckland because that's were she lives she only comes to see me my brothers and sister on the weekend then we had to go to bed but yesterday was really fun.

rugby game

on Saturday my brothers and my sister went to my mums boyfriends rugby game he didn't get a try  but he  saved  6 try's so that was enough for that time and he still got paid two hundred
and he was the main man of this game
