Athletics day

Yesterday our school had Athletics day across the road.My favourite thing to do there was long jump because I got third in it. The thing I found hard was high jump I couldn't even make it over the first one.There was more things there like sprints,sack races, high jump,discus,hurdles,relays,shot put and long jump. What is your favourite activity.When people got out in high jump me and my mates said 1,2,3 your out then we would encourage them. Comment as much as you can please.

Our assembly

Today it was our Assembly and for room 2 boys we had to do a Greece related dance and our teacher found a dance called the zorba. It was very fun and it made me so nervous doing the zorba in front of about 200 people.
Also we made a book about polygons.And it was so fun doing it

Today our teacher asked us pick a  person from yeldherst model school to be a blogger of the week from rimu class  and this is my blogger of the week Brayden.
Because his blog is amazing with all of his blogs and his comments so that's why Brayden is my blogger of the week.

Te Rau Pou manawa o Kawakawa heading to nationals

On Saturday our kapa haka group Te Rau Pou manawa o Kawakawa went to regional's to represent our school.They were amazing the came 3rd over all and now they're going to nationals next year and I'm going to join there group next year as well.

Book character day

Today we had a re opening of our school library and we had to go to room 16 to read to one of our juniors.Once we were done we got to play I spy with the books.

Polygon

Stem challenge

from Wednesday this week we have tried a stem challenge stem means stem science,technology,engineering and mathematics and this is our version of boat building.It was hard because we had to use our dojo points to buy materials they where masking tape,straws,Popsicle sticks and tin foil and hope you like our groups work.

The deca tree

for maths we had to figure out how to solve a problem called the deca tree it had ten trunks,ten branches,ten twigs and ten leafs. it was hard to figure it in the start but in the end it started to get easier when I used a table.

This week we have been reading a book called holes.We had to create a picture for what green lake looked like.Green lake is a location in the book holes and this is my picture.
